Altra Homecare Group in Marion, IN is seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants to deliver in-home care tailored to each client's needs. You will support daily activities, remind medications, help with meals, assist mobility, and document care while upholding privacy and infection control standards.

We're looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who communicate well with patients and supervisors and who can adapt to the changing needs of home-based care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care.
• Compliance with State and Federal training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure patient safety.
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition to supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Monitor and record patient temperature.
• Assist patients with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and simple activities.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
