Job summary

Columbia Place in Portland, OR is seeking a part-time on-call caregiver in healthcare. You will provide hands-on care for activities of daily living and assist with meals and mobility, while maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

No prior experience required; training is provided. We value love, respect, accountability, excellence, trust, and fun. Must be at least 18; CPR/First Aid preferred. Benefits include options for health insurance and retirement planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist residents with meals and hydration, including after-meal care.
• Help keep residents safe and comfortable, observing changes and reporting.
• Maintain a clean, warm, and welcoming environment.
• Support residents during move-ins, appointments, and community activities.
• Protect resident privacy and follow HIPAA and safety standards.
• Work closely with nurses and fellow team members to meet individual care needs.
• Build meaningful connections with residents and families.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs and perform physical caregiving tasks
• Pass background screening and health requirements
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
