Job summary

A home care services provider in St. Louis is seeking caring and dependable caregivers to provide non-medical personal care and companionship for clients. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication reminders, and emotional support. Preferred qualifications include experience with bedbound care and knowledge of dementia. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential. This position offers flexible hours, with expected hours ranging from 20-40 per week and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of caregiving experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and support mobility/transfers.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Support daily activities and behaviors as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping for a safe home.

Skills

Experience with bedbound care and transfers preferred

Knowledge of dementia and developmental disability care preferred

Ability to manage behaviors with patience and empathy

Meal prep and dietary awareness

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Payrate: $18.00
Location: Chesterfield or surrounding areas in St Louis
Hours: Willing to work between 8:00 AM–9:00 PM, with flexibility for shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours
Expected hours: 20-40 hours per week
