Job summary

HomeWell Care Services St. Louis is seeking caring, dependable caregivers who provide non-medical personal care and companionship to help clients live safely and independently in their homes.

You will support daily living activities, comfort, and dignity with a patient, respectful approach. Caregivers will assist with daily routines, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and reminders, with daytime and overnight shifts available; in-person work in the St.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience in a home setting preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse clients and adapt to needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and support mobility/transfers.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping for a safe home.

Available Shifts

• Daytime Caregiver: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Willing to work 4 to 12 hour shifts in between this time)
• Overnight Caregiver: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM (12 hour shifts)

Flexible scheduling available. Part-time shifts available.

Job Overview

Responsibilities

Skills

• Experience with bedbound care and transfers preferred
• Knowledge of dementia and developmental disability care preferred
• Ability to manage behaviors with patience and empathy
• Meal prep and dietary awareness
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Caregiving Experience 1-3 years preferred
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance

Location Requirement

Must currently reside in or be able to reliably commute in the St. Louis, MO area. If not already local, relocation prior to start date is required.
