Job summary

Holland Farms Senior Living in Norwalk, IA is hiring compassionate caregivers for part-time shifts (2 PM–10 PM and 10 PM–6 AM). You’ll assist residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and build meaningful connections with residents and their families.

This role supports residents with dignity and empathy, embodies the EPIC ACTS values, and offers training, plus opportunities for growth within an award-winning Great Place to Work community.

Qualifications

• Caregiving heart for seniors.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Previous caregiving is a plus, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, meals, and daily activities.
• Promote independence and keep residents engaged.
• Monitor residents' well-being and report changes promptly.
• Build meaningful connections with residents and families.

• Support Daily Living: Assist residents with dressing, bathing, meals, and other personal needs while promoting comfort and independence.

• Encourage Independence: Help residents stay active, engaged, and involved in their daily routines.

• Monitor Well-Being: Watch for changes in residents' conditions and promptly report any concerns.

• Build Meaningful Connections: Develop positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.

• Create Moments of Joy: Share conversations, laughter, and activities that make residents feel valued and appreciated.

• Provide Compassionate Care: Support residents with patience, kindness, and respect while protecting their dignity.
