Job summary

ComForCare Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in Berkeley and surrounding West Alameda County. You will assist with daily living activities, create a safe and engaging home environment, and provide reliable companionship.

Training is provided, with flexible part-time or full-time schedules and opportunities for advancement. Applicants should have a genuine caring attitude, a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Fluent English required.
• Experience in dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Creating a safe and engaging environment for senior clients, many living with dementia.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship.

What we're looking for:

• A genuine caring attitude and understanding of dementia care
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Access to reliable transportation and ability to drive clients
• Previous experience caregiving or as a CNA
• Experience with transfers and careing for patients in wheelchairs
• Fluent English Speaking
