Job summary

ComForCare Home Care Alameda is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in Berkeley and surrounding areas. You will assist with Activities of Daily Living, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home for clients, many living with dementia.

We offer a flexible schedule, part-time or full-time roles, and opportunities for training, advancement, and competitive pay. A genuine caring attitude and reliable transportation are key to success in this position.

Qualifications

• A genuine caring attitude and understanding of dementia care.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Access to reliable transportation and ability to drive clients.
• Previous caregiving experience or as a CNA.
• Experience with transfers and caring for patients in wheelchairs.
• Fluent English speaking.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's).
• Create a safe and engaging environment for senior clients, many living with dementia.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship.
