Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is expanding services to the Ontario area, with locations in Oregon and Idaho including Ontario, Nyssa, Vale, Adrian, Brogan, Huntington and Weiser. We welcome part-time and potential full-time transitions, with commuting to Brogan or Weiser areas.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, consistent hours and comprehensive support, plus paid travel time, orientation and training, and ongoing caregiver rewards.

Qualifications

• Background check to work in clients' homes.
• Must own a smartphone and be able to use our app.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and monitor client well-being.

We are excited to start serving clients in the Ontario area. Our service area includes locations in Oregon and Idaho. Oregon locations include Ontario, Nyssa, Vale, Adrian, Brogan, Harper, Durkee, and Huntington. Idaho locations include Fruitland, Payette, New Plymouth, and Weiser.

Current needs -

• Part Time to Start (Can work into FT)
• Open to commuting to Brogan area
• Open to commute as far as Weiser or Huntington
• Drivers needed
• Bi-Lingual Male Caregiver needed in the Vale area

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be required to complete the training within 120 days.
• Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
