Position Details

• Department: Assisted Living
• Status: Full Time, Part Time, On-Call
• Schedule:
  • Part Time: AM Shift (6AM-2PM) Sunday & Wednesday or Friday - Sunday
  • Full Time: PM Shift (2PM-10PM) Thursday-Monday
  • Part Time: PM Shift (2PM-10PM) Friday-Sunday
• Pay Range: $18-20/hour

Job Summary

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), work with residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or memory impairment, and provide emotional support while monitoring health and notifying management of changes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs such as continence care, showering, grooming, transfers, and meals.
• Encourage participation in recreational activities.
• Maintain resident dignity, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Provide emotional support and document care plans.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition.
• Maintain a cheerful, cooperative attitude and promote independence.
• Follow safety protocols and resident rights.
• Keep residents’ rooms tidy and assist with comfort and safety.
• Attend training and staff meetings.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Skills

• Ability to read and understand instructions and communicate effectively.
• Use of technology such as phones and tablets for communication.

Certificates and Licenses

• Work authorization in the U.S.
• Background checks, physical, TB test, and First Aid/CPR certification required.
