Caregiver Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Building trusting relationships with clients to facilitate effective care and support.
2. Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks.
3. Helping with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
4. Managing multiple tasks independently with good time management, courtesy, and common sense.
5. Providing care regardless of the client's age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
6. Working independently and bringing happiness and peace of mind to clients.
7. Documenting and reporting any changes in the client's health status.
8. Ensuring client safety and well-being.
9. Using electronic visit verification to document and track duties.
10. Providing safety, oversight, and supervision to enable clients to live at home safely.

Experience/Qualifications

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• First Aid/CPR certification obtained prior to employment (required).
• Defensive Driving certification or obtained within the first month of employment.
• One year of direct care experience or equivalent educational background (preferred).
• Practicing good hygiene and maintaining a neat personal appearance (required).
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) (required).
• Ability to pass clearance and reference checks (required).
• Ability to obtain a two-step negative TB test and physical (required).
