Responsibilities

• Préparation de repas/snacks.
• Maintenir un environnement de vie sûr.
• Accompagner l'individu à des événements sociaux et des sorties.
• Compléter des notes de progression quotidiennes.

This organization is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable, and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life. We seek dedicated direct care professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve.

The individual is a young male in need of a caregiver to support him with personal care and maintaining safety in the home.

This is an independent contract position paying $15.25 an hour.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm, with flexible weekends.

Responsibilities and duties you can expect in the role:

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Meal/snack preparation
• Ensuring individuals' safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Performing light housekeeping tasks
• Facilitating community involvement by accompanying the individual to social events, community outings, grocery shopping, and appointments
• Promoting communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Completing daily progress notes and EVV data

Qualifications and skills:

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass local and Level 2 background screening
• Proven caregiving experience or technical training for at least 1 year
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Age 18 or older
• HHA certification required
