Job summary

A Special Touch in Home Care is seeking a compassionate caregiver for a night shift (8:00pm–8:00am) to support clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide multiple levels of support to our clients.

Must be a non-smoker. The role requires providing personal hygiene assistance, mobility help, meal planning, light housekeeping, and companionship while maintaining high standards of safety and patient dignity.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide personal care and companionship in home settings.
• Comfort with assisting elderly or recovering clients with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (showering, bathing, dressing, feeding).

• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Complete shopping or accompany for errands.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.

Job Summary

NIGHTS 8:00pm - 8:00am - Immediate opening!!! We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients. Must be a non-smoker.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
