Job summary

Safe and Sound Home Care is seeking Private Duty Caregivers to support clients in their homes across North Mississippi with compassionate, dependable care and a focus on dignity.

We provide paid training, access to early pay, PTO, a strong supervision team, and ongoing support to help you grow as a trusted caregiver.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide redirection, stability, and oversight to reduce confusion.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals with compassion.
• Help with laundry, light cleaning, and keeping the home neat.
• Drive clients to appointments and assist with errands and grocery shopping.
• Offer companionship through conversations, music, crafts, and activities.
• Care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke recovery, Parkinson’s, diabetes, and end-of-life care.

As a Private Duty Caregiver, you will support older adults and adults with disabilities in their homes by providing:

• Redirection, stability, and oversight to reduce confusion and anxiety
• Help individuals start and end their day with confidence by assisting with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals, while offering kindness, patience, and meaningful support
• Support a calm and welcoming home by helping with routine needs like laundry, light cleaning, and keeping the space neat and comfortable
• Help clients stay active and engaged by driving them to appointments, completing errands together, and assisting with grocery shopping
• Foster emotional well-being by spending quality time with clients through conversation, music, crafts, and other activities that bring joy and connection
• Give specialized, compassionate care for individuals living with Alzheimer's and dementia, stroke recovery, Parkinson's, diabetes, and those receiving end-of-life support

Private Duty Caregivers for Safe and Sound Home Care are dependable, compassionate, and dedicated to providing quality caregiving services. We pride ourselves on hiring private duty caregivers who:

• Have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and valid insurance
• Are available to work some weekends
• Have at least 1 year of experience (preferred, not required)

Private Duty Caregivers must also pass background screening requirements and undergo drug testing.
