Job summary

Independent Home Health is seeking dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes across Coal Township and surrounding communities.

No prior caregiving experience? That's okay. If you are reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we’d love to talk with you. You’ll help clients stay safe, comfortable and independent at home while building meaningful relationships.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have reliable transportation to commute to clients.
• Be able to complete required background checks.
• Be dependable, caring and patient.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help with mobility and everyday activities.
• Prepare meals.
• Complete light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed.

What You'll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you're supporting, you may:

What We're Looking For

You must:

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
