Job summary

Independent Home Health in Mehoopany, PA is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Mehoopany and surrounding communities. You’ll have the opportunity to build a relationship with the person you’re supporting and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent at home.

Flexible scheduling and both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with a $15/hour wage and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass background checks.
• Dependable, caring and patient.
• Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.
• Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help with mobility and everyday activities.
• Prepare meals.
• Complete light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
• Follow the individual's care plan.
• Document the services you provide.
