Belmont Village La Jolla is seeking dependable caregivers to join our assisted living and memory care team. You will provide hands-on care and support to residents, helping with daily activities while building meaningful relationships that enhance comfort, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Qualified candidates may have experience as a CNA, DSP, or similar caregiver role. CNAs are welcome, and a patient, team‑oriented attitude is essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
• Experience as a caregiver or relevant training.
• Able to use company issued electronic devices (tablets, smartphones, laptops).
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure smooth operations.
• Employment may require post-offer screenings (background check, drug screen, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to assigned seniors in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.
• Promote socialization and participation in activities while prioritizing safety and well-being.
• Document and maintain records of daily care and promptly report changes to supervisors.
• Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed.
• Make hospitality and resident satisfaction a top priority in every interaction.

Walk-In Interviews - Every Tuesday: 12pm-3pm & Thursday: 10am-12pm

Full-Time: 6:30am-2:30pm,2:30pm-10:30pm

4 days on/2 days off rotating schedule includes weekends/holidays

Part-Time: 6:30am-2:30pm, 2:30pm-10:30pm,10:30pm-6:30am

2 days on/4 days off rotating schedule includes weekends/holidays

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Caregiver at Belmont Village, you will provide hands‑on care and support to seniors living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Working as part of a collaborative care team, you'll assist residents with daily activities while building meaningful relationships that enhance their comfort, wellbeing, and quality of life.

We're seeking dependable, team-oriented professionals who take pride in their work, maintain a positive attitude, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Successful candidates are comfortable caring for multiple residents and delivering exceptional care and hospitality. Previous experience as a Caregiver, C.N.A., Resident Assistant, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Patient Care Assistant, or in a similar healthcare, senior living, assisted living, memory care, or group home setting is highly valued.

A C.N.A. license is not required. We welcome experienced caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants, and individuals who are passionate about building a career in senior living and healthcare.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote socialization and inspire participation in community activities while prioritizing resident safety and well‑being
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided and promptly report any observed changes to supervisors
• Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands‑on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
• Must be able to effectively use company issued electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops for job‑related tasks
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
