Job summary

Discovery Management Group, operating the Trinity community, is seeking a Care Giver/Medication Technician to provide hands-on resident care and medication administration. You will support daily living activities, maintain safety, and contribute to a home-like environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety standards while engaging residents in meaningful activities and ensuring high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and supervision for residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Administer and observe medications and treatments following Six Rights of Medication Pass
• Monitor and record resident conditions and changes
• Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident areas
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and security systems
• Communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies
• Other duties as assigned
