Job summary

Bonita Villa Senior Living in California is seeking caregivers and Med Techs to join our care team. The roles pay $18.50 to $19.50 per hour and require compassionate, reliable individuals to deliver ADL support and medication assistance.

Responsibilities include implementing resident service plans, responding to alarms, maintaining records, ensuring safety and infection control, and communicating changes to nursing staff. CPR certification and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Caregiver required
• Experience as a Med Tech preferred
• Must have or be able to obtain CPR certification
• Speak, read, and understand English
• Committed to health & safety
• Able to do housework and cooking
• Well-organized and reliable
• Excellent communication and people skills
• A positive and compassionate attitude
• Physical stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Read and implement ADLs per resident service plan within scope of practice
• Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and alarms promptly
• Demonstrates empathy and develops caring rapport with residents
• Delivers care and services per individual service plan
• Maintains accurate records of care delivered
• Conducts shift-start safety checks and communicates resident status
• Reports changes of condition to nursing promptly
• Promotes infection control and a clean, safe environment
• Assist housekeeping and maintenance as needed
• Respect resident rights and promote independence
