Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Morris Plains, NJ is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support residents with daily activities, personal care, and mobility, while upholding safety and dignity.

You will follow individualized care plans, document changes, and engage residents through meaningful conversations and activities to brighten their days. Training and growth opportunities are provided as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
