Job summary

Sevita is seeking a caring caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based settings. You will help participants grow, learn, and live well, building meaningful relationships and taking initiative to support their goals.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, addressing behavioral challenges, and helping participants engage in community activities. This role offers a supportive, mission-driven team and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork are required.
• Reliable, compassionate, patient and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Provide care that helps individuals grow, learn, and live well.
• Build real, meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Support participants with personal hygiene and behavioral challenges as needed.
• Encourage participation in community activities and personal goals.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure participants' well-being and safety.
