Job summary

Clarity Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our residential group homes in Oshkosh and Green Bay. With full-time and part-time positions and flexible shifts available, you can find an opportunity that works with your lifestyle.

As a DSP, you’ll help Members with varying abilities navigate everyday activities, build independence and enjoy fulfilling lives. Paid training is provided; no experience or certifications required. Starting pay up to $18/hour with a $1 weekend premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass caregiver background checks.
• No prior caregiving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and other daily activities per care plans.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance using appropriate techniques.
• Encourage Members to make choices, develop skills and work toward goals.
• Provide compassionate, respectful support that promotes dignity and independence.
• Prepare meals following dietary needs and keep a clean, comfortable home (laundry, housekeeping).
• Support daily routines and accompany Members to social activities and community events.

What You’ll Do

Support Independence & Everyday Living

• Assist Members with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene and other daily activities based on individual care plans.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Encourage Members to make choices, develop skills and work toward personal goals.
• Provide compassionate, respectful support that promotes dignity and independence.

Create a Safe & Welcoming Home

• Prepare and serve meals while following individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable home through housekeeping, laundry and other household activities.
• Support daily routines that make each residential home a positive place to live.

Build Connections & Meaningful Experiences

• Accompany Members to social activities, recreational outings and community events.
• Encourage participation in activities reflecting Members’ interests and personal goals.
• Build trusting relationships and celebrate everyday achievements.

Work Together to Provide Quality Care

• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure consistent, person-centered support.
• Follow individualized service plans, safety procedures and organizational policies.
• Complete required documentation and communicate important updates regarding Member care.

Basic Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.

• Ability to successfully complete required caregiver background checks.
• No prior caregiving experience or certifications required.
