Job summary

Clarity Care, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for residential group homes in Oshkosh and Green Bay, WI. We offer full-time and part-time roles, flexible shifts, paid training, and benefits. Starting pay up to $18/hour based on experience with an additional $1/hour weekend premium.

You will help Members with everyday activities, build independence, and participate in community outings, with a focus on compassionate, person-centered support.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and daily activities per care plans.

• Encourage choices, support independence, and promote dignity.
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs and assist with housekeeping
• Accompany Members to social activities and community events.
• Document care and communicate updates to supervisors.

As a DSP, you'll help Members with varying abilities navigate everyday activities, build independence and enjoy fulfilling lives. From preparing meals and providing personal care to sharing a laugh or enjoying a community outing, the little things you do can make a big difference.

No experience or certifications? No problem! We'll provide the paid training you need to succeed.

What You'll Do:

Support Independence & Everyday Living:

• Assist Members with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene and other daily activities based on individual care plans.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Encourage Members to make choices, develop skills and work toward personal goals.
• Provide compassionate, respectful support that promotes dignity and independence.

Create a Safe & Welcoming Home:

• Prepare and serve meals while following individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable home through housekeeping, laundry and other household activities.
• Support daily routines that make each residential home a positive place to live.

Build Connections & Meaningful Experiences:

• Accompany Members to social activities, recreational outings and community events.
• Encourage participation in activities reflecting Members' interests and personal goals.
• Build trusting relationships and celebrate everyday achievements.

Work Together to Provide Quality Care:

• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure consistent, person-centered support.
• Follow individualized service plans, safety procedures and organizational policies.
• Complete required documentation and communicate important updates regarding Member care.

Basic Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, equivalent education and/or relevant work or life experience.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and ability to meet agency driving standards.
• Ability to successfully complete required caregiver background checks.
• No prior caregiving experience or certifications required.
