Job summary

Merrill Gardens – Pines of Newmarket is seeking compassionate Senior Living Caregivers for a full-time role with Saturday and Sunday doubles. You will support residents on their wellness journey in a community built on dignity and family values.

As a Caregiver, you assist with activities of daily living, help with medications as allowed by state, and complete daily progress notes. We offer training, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

If you are someone with:

Physical Requirements: This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
