Job summary

hcaoa-careers is hiring compassionate In-Home Caregivers in the Long Beach area of California to provide quality in-home care and develop meaningful relationships with clients.

As a certified caregiver, you will assist with activities of daily living, coordinate with families, and help clients stay connected with the outside world through appointments and errands. Flexible 10–40 hour weeks with strong support and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide Registry (HCA) process assistance available.
• Employment verification and professional reference screening completed.
• Experience as a caregiver in home care, community living, or skilled nursing facility.
• TB screening or clear chest X-ray.
• Able to work 10–40 hours per week with some weekend availability.
• Reliable transportation to different clients throughout the week.

Responsibilities

• Foster an in-depth, connected relationship within the home care environment.
• Use the CareGiver app to track schedule, care plan, and communications with the office.
• Provide full scope of interaction with the client, including daily living tasks and engagement.

We are hiring for In-Home CareGivers, ready to provide quality in-home care and develop an enriching meaningful relationship with our clients. Our clients often require assistance with activities of daily living but also need assistance staying connected with the outside world through social activities, appointments, and errands. Your role as a certified caregiver helps them to live life to their fullest. We are open to applicants from the following industries: CareGivers, Medical, CNA, Nursing, Hospitality, etc.

Caregiver Benefits:

Caregiver Duties:

• Foster an in-depth connected relationships within the home care environment.
• Use our CareGiver mobile app to keep track of your work schedule, shift responsibilities, communicate with the office, and much more.
• Full scope of interaction with the client in their home including assistance with their activities of daily living, maintaining their home environment, and keeping them engaged with the outside world.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Home Care Aide Registry (HCA): we can assist you with this process if needed.
• Complete Employment Verification and Professional Reference screening with satisfactory results.
• Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting, community living, or skilled nursing facility.
• TB screening or clear chest X-ray.
• Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team.
• Available and Able to work between 10-40 hours per week with some weekend work availability.
• Reliable transportation to different clients throughout the week including weekends.
• Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day.
• Able to lift 20-30 pounds and use tools necessary for job.
