Job summary

CareBuilders at Home, Inc. is hiring empathetic caregivers to provide non-medical assistance and companionship to clients at home in the Houston area. You will help with daily activities, light housework, meal prep, and accompany clients to appointments and outings.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, reliable, and able to follow care plans, with strong communication skills and a valid driver’s license if required. A drug screen and background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients health or behavior, ensuring a safe environment.

Responsibilities of a Caregiver:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Skills and Qualifications of a Caregiver:

• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.

• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
