Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Northeast Ohio is hiring compassionate Caregivers to help older adults live safely and independently at home. You’ll provide non-medical care, companionship, meal prep, and light housekeeping with training provided.

We offer flexible schedules, paid onboarding, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth as you make a meaningful daily impact in clients' lives. No prior experience required; background check and motor vehicle screening are required, and driver’s license

Qualifications

• Compassion, patience, reliability, and a heart for serving older adults.
• All experience levels welcome — no experience required.
• Successful completion of a background check & motor vehicle screening required.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments required.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care: companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, safety support
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, and safe mobility (training provided)
• Engage with clients — doing tasks with them, not just for them
• Bring joy by participating in activities they enjoy conversation, hobbies, shared tasks, or outings
• Build trusted, respectful relationships with clients and their families
• Communicate observations and updates to the office
