Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking Home Care Aide in San Francisco to support seniors living at home with personal care and companionship. You’ll help with bathing, dressing, meals and daily activities to enable safe, independent living, while families gain peace of mind.

Set your own schedule with 1:1 client ratios, access online training to earn CEUs, and receive competitive pay for your care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and CA HCA registration.
• At least 6 months in a healthcare role preferred.
• CPR certification and Covid-19 vaccination.
• Valid CA driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
