Caregiver | Home Care Aide

$18.00/Hour

Shifts Available: Saturday 10a - 7p | Sunday 9a - 7p

Location: Oroville, CA

As a Home Care Aide with Interim Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in our clients' lives and bring peace of mind to their families. We are seeking professional, upbeat, and reliable caregivers to provide care for our clients, helping them stay safely in their homes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized attention to support clients' physical, mental, and social well-being.
• Assist with ambulation using proper body mechanics or lifting devices.
• Follow the client's care plan and communicate observations and needs.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, hygiene, feeding, toileting, transfers, and other personal needs.
• Remind clients to take medications they self-administer.
• Maintain clients' comfort, privacy, and dignity, and promote a caring environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients' visitors and families.
• Perform homemaking duties such as cleaning, laundry, and changing linens.
• Experience with dementia is helpful.

Caregiver Job Requirements:

• 6+ months caregiving experience preferred; Parkinson's experience required.
• Ability to pass background checks and a negative TB test.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Willing to use a smartphone for clocking in/out and documentation.
• Current CA Driver's License and transportation.
