Job summary

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking Skilled Personal Attendants (Caregivers) to support seniors in Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and surrounding areas. Positions include weekdays and weekend shifts with competitive pay.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 30 lbs. We value reliability and compassionate care, with virtual interviews available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to pass background checks.
• Daytime, Afternoon, and Evening availability.
• Ability to travel up to 25 miles for work.
• HCA License

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, dressing, walking, grooming, eating, incontinence care and transfer
• Assist with safe use and setup of assistive equipment
• Perform light housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe environment
• Provide medication reminders
• Support mobility, transfers, and overall safety
• Encourage communication and social engagement
• Document care tasks accurately
• Build meaningful relationships while maintaining professional standards

Always Best Care Senior Services is hiring SKILLED PERSONAL ATTENDANT (Caregivers)to support seniors in Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and surrounding areas.

Service Areas (Must Be Willing to Work In):

Oakland, Richmond, Piedmont, Alameda County, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Concord, Contra Costa County, and surrounding areas.

Virtual Interviews

COMPENSATION:

• Personal Attendants: Starting at $21 per hour
• Weekend Personal Attendants (Saturday/Sunday Only): $24 per hour.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving or personal attendant experience
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle
• Must be able to work split/stacked shifts (1-4-hour shifts combined to form full workdays).
• Must be able to travel up to 25 miles for work.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass criminal background checks
• Daytime, Afternoon, and Evening availability
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• HCA License
