Job summary

Right at Home Alameda is seeking caregivers to support elderly clients in Alameda County. You will provide compassionate in-home care, assist with daily activities, and help with medication reminders, meal prep, and mobility as needed.

Shifts are available across all hours. Travel to clients’ homes is expected. Eligible candidates should be 21+, authorized to work in the US, and California-registered Home Care Aide. We offer competitive pay and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Registered with the State of California as a Home Care Aide (HCA).
• Reliable transportation; driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities for Caregiver/Home Health Aide:

• Caring for an ill, aging or disabled person.
• Light housework and cleaning
• Meal preparation and medication reminders,
• Shopping and running errands, companionship
• Assistance with personal care services such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Primarily work in the client's place of residence.
• Travel is required.

Requirements for Caregiver/Home Health Aide:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Authorized to work in the US
• Registered with the State of California as a Home Care Aide (HCA)
• Reliable transportation (Driver's license preferred)
• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick
• Willing to travel
• Caregiving experience preferred
