Senior Helpers of North Valley in the Los Angeles area is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to support older adults at home. You’ll provide companionship, personal care, meal prep, and help with daily routines, with flexible scheduling and ongoing training.

Prior caregiving preferred; CNA/HHA welcome; California HCA registration may be required. Join a local team that values dignity and one-on-one connections.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient, and respectful approach.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and clear communication.
• Reliable transportation to assigned clients’ homes.
• Active California Home Care Aide registration, or willingness to complete registration before providing care.
• Ability to meet California background clearance and TB clearance requirements.
• A valid driver’s license and auto insurance for driving assignments.

Responsabilités

• Provide companionship through conversation, activities, and everyday encouragement.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Assist with walking and safe transfers using training and equipment.
• Support clients living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
• Help with errands and appointments when assigned.
• Complete shift documentation and promptly report changes or concerns to the office.

What you’ll do

Depending on the client’s care plan, you may:

• Provide companionship through conversation, activities, and everyday encouragement.

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care.

What we’re looking for

• Ability to perform the essential duties of the assigned role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• A valid driver’s license and appropriate auto insurance for assignments that require driving clients.

Previous caregiving experience is preferred. CNA and HHA applicants are welcome; a nursing license is not required.
