Job summary

EGN Home Care is seeking a Home Care Aide or Caregiver to join our team in Santa Rosa, CA. You will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, following care plans with compassion and attention to detail.

Strong communication is essential; prior home health or hospice experience is a plus. Must pass fingerprint clearance, have a driver’s license, and hold CPR/First Aid certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months prior professional experience.
• Driver’s license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required upon hiring.
• Pedriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds or wheelchairs.
• Care for clients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of client care, condition, progress, or problems to report to supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to keep them mentally healthy.
• Engage clients in exercises or other activities.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Home Care Aide or Caregiver to join our team! You will be directly working with clients, following a one-on-one care plan in client's homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.
