Abricare, Inc. is seeking part-time and full-time Caregivers in North Kansas City, Missouri. Caregivers provide essential personal care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence.

We offer competitive pay at $16/hour, flexible scheduling, and various healthcare benefits for full-time staff, like medical, dental, and paid time off. Ideal candidates will have a compassionate nature and preferably some caregiving experience.

• Assist with personal care including bathing and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals and provide feeding assistance.

• Assist with mobility and transfers safely.
• Complete essential shopping and errands.

The Role

As a Caregiver with AbriCare, you will provide essential personal care and individualized support to clients in their homes, allowing them to maintain independence and a high quality of life. We offer flexible scheduling and competitive hourly wages.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding
• Performing light housekeeping tasks
• Providing medication reminders
• Offering companionship and engaging in meaningful activities
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Completing essential shopping and errands (not transporting clients)

Qualifications

• A compassionate and reliable nature
• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
• Dedication and a willingness to learn
• Caregivers with Advanced Personal Care (APC) and/or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are strongly encouraged to apply; APC or CNA certification preferred, but not required
• Valid driver's license and/or a reliable transportation plan
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• A working smartphone (for time and attendance usage)
