Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist clients with daily activities in their homes in the Randolph, MA area. A valid CNA or HHA certification or proven caregiving experience is preferred, with strong communication and reliability a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming) to maintain client dignity.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking.
• Prepare and serve meals to ensure nutrition.
• Provide medication reminders and support adherence.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities to brighten the day.
• Follow care plans and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Transport clients for appointments if needed; miles reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; your support helps our clients maintain dignity and comfort
• Assist with Mobility, Transfers, Light Exercise or Walking
• Prepare and serve meals so clients have tasty and healthy food
• Medication reminders are crucial to our client’s health – we will train you
• Provide companionship, engage in fun activities and be the friendly face and joyful presence that makes every day a little brighter
• Show enthusiasm for helping others, eagerness to learn, and motivation to provide excellent care
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients' homes
• Occasional Transportation of your client – appointments or errands, we reimburse your miles
• Demonstrate dedication to our clients and respect for our agency’s close-knit team

Requirements

• Proficiency in English
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience
• Previous experience in home care or a similar setting is a plus but not necessary; what matters most is your kindness and eagerness to make a difference
• Strong communication skills and a caring nature - because a warm, empathetic approach is at the heart of what we do
• Ability to follow a care plan and provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass background checks because we value trust and integrity in our team
