Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in the Milton area is looking for compassionate caregivers to join a winning team. You will work with an RN Supervisor in the field and receive support to excel while making a real difference in clients’ lives in Norfolk and Suffolk counties.

We seek reliable caregivers with a caring, empathetic approach. Duties include personal care, meals, mobility assistance, companionship, and transportation. Flexible schedules and ongoing training help you grow with the agency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English is required.
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience.
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience are welcome.
• Previous home care experience is a plus but not required; kindness matters most.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities to maintain dignity and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise, or walking.
• Prepare and serve meals for healthy, tasty nutrition.
• Provide medication reminders and follow care plans.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; your support helps our clients maintain dignity and comfort
• Assist with Mobility, Transfers, Light Exercise or Walking
• Prepare and serve meals so clients have tasty and healthy food
• Medication reminders are crucial to our client’s health – we will train you
• Provide companionship, engage in fun activities and be the friendly face and joyful presence that makes every day a little brighter
• Show enthusiasm for helping others, eagerness to learn, and motivation to provide excellent care
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients' homes
• Occasional Transportation of your client – appointments or errands, we reimburse your miles
• Demonstrate dedication to our clients and respect for our agency’s close-knit team

Requirements

• Proficiency in English
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience
• Previous experience in home care or a similar setting is a plus but not necessary; what matters most is your kindness and eagerness to make a difference
• Strong communication skills and a caring nature - because a warm, empathetic approach is at the heart of what we do
