Job summary

HomeWell Senior Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors in Indiana. You will work one-on-one with clients, delivering companionship and daily living support in the comfort of their homes.

A $15.00–$17.00 per hour wage is offered with full- or part-time options, plus benefits and a streamlined hiring process. Training and advancement opportunities are available, and a supportive franchise network backs your work.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required, CNA/HHA preferred but not necessary.
• Must have daily access to email and mobile phone.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. Responsibilities

• Social companionship


• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation


• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings


• Standby assistance with transfers


• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred


• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus


• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone


• Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)


• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test


• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance


• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts


• A compassionate heart for older adults


• Must possess excellent communication skills


• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
