Job summary

ComForCare Home Care – St. Paul in Minneapolis is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care. The ideal candidate is patient, respectful, and committed to making a positive difference in clients’ lives.

You will assist with activities of daily living, provide companionship, prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and follow care plans while documenting services and reporting changes to the office. Competitive pay, paid training, and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• At least five years of caregiving experience in home care, senior care, or a related setting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if driving is required.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain professional boundaries.
• Willingness to participate in required training and background studies.
• Must meet Minnesota employment and background-study requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan and authorized duties.
• Assist with transfers, walking, and mobility needs as trained and assigned.
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments or errands when required.
• Follow individualized care plans and document services accurately.
• Report changes in a client's condition, safety concerns, or incidents to the office promptly.
• Respect clients' privacy, personal belongings, dietary needs, and dignity at all times.
• Support clients receiving hospice or end-of-life care within the caregiver's training and assigned responsibilities.
