Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care Central New Jersey is seeking a Caregiver / HHA to provide compassionate in-home care on-site in Middlesex, Somerset, and Union counties, NJ. You will support clients’ daily living activities, safety, and dignity, working across flexible shifts to meet families’ needs.

Responsibilities include personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and social engagement with clients while collaborating with a caring team to maintain quality of life in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• NJ Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification is required.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
• Effective communication in English.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Strong organizational skills in personal care and assistance tasks.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / HHA at Assisting Hands Home Care of Edison, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to our clients during various shifts. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients. Working on-site, you’ll have the opportunity to create meaningful connections while supporting individuals in maintaining their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in personal care and assistance tasks.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.


2. Possess additional certifications in first aid or CPR.


3. Are bilingual, which can enhance communication with diverse clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities, with availability required across various days of the week, including weekends.

This position is on-site in Middlesex, Somerset, Union counties in New Jersey.
