Job summary

Golden Care in San Diego County is seeking caregivers to help seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes. A typical day includes companionship, daily living support, meal assistance, and mobility help.

You will work flexible day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts (6 to 15 hours per shift) with both full-time and part-time opportunities. Paid training, paperwork help, including Home Care Aide registration and TB test, and eligible benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to shifts is required.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Driver's license and vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and daily living support to seniors at home.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and mobility as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist at mealtimes.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Drive clients to appointments and outings.

What You'll Do

You’ll help seniors live safely, comfortably, and joyfully in their own homes. A typical day might include:

• Sharing conversation, activities, and companionship
• Helping with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other daily routines
• Preparing meals and helping at mealtime
• Supporting clients safely as they walk and move around
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Driving clients to appointments, errands, and outings

What You’ll Need
