Job summary

Senior Helpers of Gainesville is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in Gainesville and nearby counties. Ground-floor growth and opportunities for leadership exist as the agency grows. Earn $16–$18/hour with extra pay for weekends and holidays, plus flexible schedules and a benefits program after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license, HHA certificate, or proven personal care experience.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a government-issued photo ID.
• Active CPR certification (from an in-person, hands-on course).
• Ability to pass a Florida Level 2 Background Screening (via the Clearinghouse).

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including showering, grooming, toileting, and transfers/mobility.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer meaningful companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
