Objective:

Caregivers work independently in client homes or healthcare facilities, providing personal care to patients. Their responsibilities include traveling to clients' homes to assist with basic domestic tasks and activities of daily living, such as bathing, and offering companionship and emotional support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship, socialization, and mental stimulation to clients
• Transport clients to and from appointments, errands, and activities
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Assist with transfers and ambulation
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare and cook meals

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's
• Empathy and ability to address clients' social, emotional, physical, and mental needs
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Physical ability to reach with hands and arms
• Capability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds safely
• Ability to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds and bend/kneel as needed
• Physical strength and stamina

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Licenses/Certifications:
