Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate caregivers for in-home senior care in Huntington Beach, CA, and surrounding areas. Roles include mornings, afternoons, and evenings with part-time and full-time options. Training, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing support are provided.

Start pay is $18 per hour, commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, personal care, mobility assistance, and documenting care.

Qualifications

• HCA Registered (required)
• Driver's License with insurance and reliable vehicle
• Criminal Background Investigation and pre-employment drug screen
• 1 year caregiving experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and adapt to residents' needs

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily tasks: meals, light housekeeping, errands.
• Provide showers, bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance.
• Assist with transfers and mobility
• Encourage activity and document care using a cell phone
• Create a trusting, comforting home environment
