Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a full-time Caregiver for Adult Day Program in Coralville, IA. This on-site day-shift role offers hands-on training and a starting pay of $17 per hour, with on-demand pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll support individuals in daily living activities, build trusting relationships, and help them achieve personal and community goals. No experience is required—training is provided, and 18+ with a valid license are welcome.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for at least 1 year without restrictions.
• A clean driving record.
• Personal vehicle for on-the-job use, with valid insurance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful clearance of background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, from budgeting and nutrition to community activities and recreation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative every day in a role where your ideas and dedication are valued.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
• Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and enjoy their favorite events.
