Job summary

Marklund is a nonprofit organization in Geneva, IL dedicated to helping individuals with profound disabilities live fuller lives. We are hiring dedicated Caregivers for flexible full-time, part-time and on-call shifts with a base rate of $18/hr plus differentials for evenings and weekends.

CNAs start at $20/hr and DSPs up to $19.50/hr based on experience. We provide free DSP training and extensive growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or helpful
• Caregiver experience helpful but not required; on-site paid training provided
• Must be able to perform essential functions and environmental requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist with day program activities to help residents achieve daily goals
• Groom residents by brushing hair, teeth, and shaving
• Assist residents with bathing, incontinence, and dressing
• Feed residents and document food and liquid intake
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Assist residents with mobility needs and transfers
• Communicate with the healthcare team
