Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver at Aston Gardens at Pelican Marsh in Naples, FL. You will provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in a safe, home-like environment, helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.

As a CNA or aspiring CNA, you’ll collaborate with the care team to promote independence, dignity, and well-being, while monitoring resident needs and reporting changes to supervisors. Shifts run 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm.

• Communication skills are essential for interacting with residents, families and staff.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with strong customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Prior experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Teamwork and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance.
• Respond to resident call bells promptly and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Promote independence and dignity while ensuring safety and well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas.
• Offer companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities.
• Notify supervisor of increased care needs or changes in condition.
• Other duties as assigned.
