Job summary

Discovery Senior Living in Naples, FL, is seeking an Activities & Events Coordinator for Aston Gardens at Pelican Marsh. This full-time role focuses on enriching residents’ lives through engaging programs and a welcoming community environment.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s Degree, 1–3 years in senior living, strong communication, and proficiency with Word and Excel. Join us to create meaningful experiences and foster joy for residents.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• One to three years of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior population exposure preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, in the residents’ primary language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer applications; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and overseeing a diverse calendar of resident activities and events.
• Coordinate and lead community programs, ensuring seamless execution from set‑up through clean‑up.
• Partner with team members and residents to create meaningful experiences that promote engagement.
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to diverse interests and abilities.
• Maintain accurate scheduling and communication for events and preparation.
• Other duties as assigned.
