Job summary

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical support to older adults in their homes. You will offer companionship, help with daily living activities, and light housekeeping to promote independence and dignity.

We value reliability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work with flexible scheduling across days, evenings, weekends, and overnights. A state certification, if applicable, enhances your application.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, proof of insurance (if required for client transport)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.
