Job summary

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home assistance to older adults, helping them maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

You will offer companionship, personal care, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments in a flexible scheduling environment designed to meet client needs and ensure safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving or home care experience is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license as required for client transport.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.

Job Summary
