Job summary

Safe Harbor Home Care is hiring Personal Care Attendants for in-home support in the San Diego area. Caregivers provide non-medical services to clients in their homes and communities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, mobility assistance and companionship.

Applicants must be 18+, have valid I-9 documents, be registered with the CA Home Care Aide Registry, and hold a current TB certificate, LIC 508/501, and SOC 341A. Orientation is required before working with clients.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Valid I-9 documents
• Clearance on Home Care Aide Registry
• TB certificate
• Registered with CA and active HCA number
• Completed LIC 508
• Completed LIC 501
• SOC 341A acknowledgment
• Minimum 5 hours orientation before client contact

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
• Bathing, dressing, feeding, exercising
• Hair care, mouth care, toileting and mobility support
• Medication reminders and basic housekeeping
• Meal planning and preparation, laundry, errands as needed
