Job summary

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring an experienced Direct Support Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in O'Fallon, MO. This is a consistent part-time opportunity with dependable weekday evening hours.

As a Direct Support Caregiver, you will assist with ADLs, mobility, meal prep, companionship, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe home environment. Prior DSP or caregiving experience and being 18+ with a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Prior direct support, DSP, or professional caregiving experience required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle with current insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with personal care and ADLs
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Prepare meals and assist with meal cleanup
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry and tidying

Schedule

• Monday-Friday


• 4:30 PM-8:00 PM
